A very simple arthritis pain management device is the arthritis bracelet. This form of arthritis pain treatment is quickly gaining popularity in the U.S.. Even though there has been an explosive growth in the use of arthritis bracelets, shockingly most arthritis patients don’t know about them.

What should you know about arthritis bracelets?

One One thing inperticular thing you should realize about arthritis bracelets, is that there are different styles. But, the main focus of this article is to concentrate specifically on the magnetic arthritis bracelets.

The believability of the performance of magnetic bracelets has for a long time, supported by folk medicine and holistic healers. In recent years Western medicine has begun to appreciate more and more natural healing methods. Because of this trend, a growing number of arthritis sufferers are giving non-traditional Western medical methods a try. Magnetic bracelets are not an exception. Magnetic bracelets are growing in popularity and use among people in the U.S..

There has been some recent credible research which concludes copper magnetic bracelets can be used as an good arthritis pain treatment method. This clinical trial was conducted by a team of U.K. researchers. They wanted to test whether magnetic bracelets were good in treating arthritis pain, or if they were useless. They did find at the end of the twelve week study, that the magnetic bracelets helped to reduce the pain of the wearers as opposed to those who were given a “dummy” bracelet.

There is one precaution to the study, weak magnetic bracelets had little to no effect on their wearers, just as the “dummy” bracelets did. Be sure to have a strong magnetic bracelet. Make sure the field is between 170 and 200 mTesla.

Most often an area that is afflicted with arthritis is low on blood circulation. With this low circulation there is normally a shortage of oxygen to the area also. This can cause a high acidity which would imply a positive polarity. The magnetic bracelet is supposed to alieviate pain in these areas by increasing circulation and introducing a negative polarity. Decreassed inflammation may result also.

The negative energy field created by the magnet also counteracts the positive field associated with the painful condition. Anyone, who is pregnant, or wearing a pacemaker, electronic implants or using electric blankets/heating pads should not use magnetic products. You should always consult a doctor before undertaking any form of treatment for arthritis.
